If you are looking delicious food and a unique setting, The Delphi Club on Rolling Harbour is a good choice. It is located about 9 miles south of Casuarina Point. As you drive south – look for a large white rock on the right side of the road, marking the left turn to the Dephi drive. For dinner they offer canapés, three courses and coffee for a set price (around $100?) and interesting conversation at their long dining table.
The Delphi Club is a plantation-style lodge with a beautiful setting. It has a large wrap-around deck with stunning views of Rolling Harbour.
When we went last, cocktails and canapes were served at 6:15 and dinner was served at 7. You can enjoy your cocktails on the deck with the gorgeous view or in the large ‘living room.’ All guests have dinner at the one long dining table. You can choose where you sit, and couples can choose to sit together, across from each other, or apart. It is like a big dinner party with an interesting variety of guests.
The menu is set, but you we had a choice of a meat or a fish main course. After dinner we were treated to coffee and homemade chocolates – and a nightcap – compliments of the house.
There is a set price for dinner, plus wines and drinks. Reservations are required. They as that you write to Reservations@DelphiClubAbaco.com to make a reservation. You can call (242) 577-1698 or email: Delphi.Bahamas@gmail.com for more information.
You can follow The Dephi on Facebook, too.
We have also enjoyed a fabulous lunch at The Delphi. Again, you need to call ahead for reservations to see if it is available. We recently dined there and after enjoying Mimosas and canapes on the large deck, I chose a green salad with citrus and sliced duck breast for my entree – followed by an amazing molten lava, chocolate cake with ice cream and strawberries. It was a very delicious lunch!
